Opening for 1-2 individuals interested in economics, finance, Fixed Income portfolio management, wealth management, and U.S. Markets. We are a Fixed Income money manager who acts as a strategic partner working with financial advisors as their fixed income solution. The U.S. bond market is estimated at $47 Trillion according to SIFMA as of 4Q 2020. We help advisors manage the bond portion of their client’s portfolios to maximize return, customize portfolios to meet individual’s needs, and bring greater tax-efficiency. We were recently named top 10 bond managers of the decade according to PSN/Informa and are looking for others to join us in rolling up their sleeves for continued excellence.

At TFS, you will gain exposure to:
o Managing Fixed Income portfolios by
o Applying metrics such as duration, yield curve, and credit quality
o Learning how to properly diversify a Fixed Income portfolio
o Helping analyze and compare benchmarks
o Using Macro (Top Down) Analysis to anticipate future market/rate moves
o Implementing Bottom-Up Analysis for best security selection
o Being a part of the overall team discussion in construction of new portfolios
At TFS, specific activities may also include:
o Monitoring portfolios to see which are underperforming
o Gaining proficiency in Excel by building Workbooks and Models
o Engaging daily in our portfolio accounting software
o Helping with trading by entering trade tickets
o Assisting a portfolio manager with GIPS Compliance requirements
o Weekly meeting to discuss credits we are watching closely in portfolios
o Creating meeting or presentation materials along with weekly materials/projects for traders
