The Lead Associate, Website Production, with their supervisor, is tasked with the creation, maintenance, optimization, and performance of the Save the Children web sites (www.savethechildren.org and www.savethechildrenactionnetwork.org). As part of the Digital Marketing Team, you’ll act as a focal point on web experience, helping to achieve ambitious growth goals and improve the overall supporter experience.
This role requires strong web site management skills, and a combination of analysis, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
Project Management and Web Production (30%)
- Service ad-hoc web update requests from the various stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders to scope and gather requirements for production and development requests, write development requirements documents and project manage implementation through JIRA while managing expectations and timing, and aligning work with overall web strategy
- Manage, edit and publish content using Adobe Experience Manager CMS and HTML editor.
- Edit and publish transactional web content using Luminate Online e-commerce platform.
- Available and on call during emergency responses. May require night or weekend work.
Content Management (30%)
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand their business and communications objectives and create supporting web content.
- Ensure the content is aligned with the overall website experiences.
- Perform QA testing types, such as browser compatibility, usability, end-to-end, and user acceptance;
- Identify, document and track defects and collaborate cross-functionally with IT to troubleshoot solutions
- Work with Supporter Services Unit, Donor Services, digital developers and IT to flag, report, troubleshoot and resolve user issues with website functionality and connectivity.
Analytics, Testing, and Optimization (20%)
- Analyze web content performance data from a variety of sources (web stats, mouse/click/heat map tracking, surveys, and user recordings) and provide actionable insights that can improve the website experience.
- Leverage A/B testing tools (i.e. Adobe Target) and qualitative testing (i.e. usertesting.com) in developing optimal web experiences
- High school diploma, plus at least three (3) years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in a digital project management role, with the ability to organize projects and priorities.
- Experience in product management, website operations, and/or data analysis
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate successfully with individuals and teams at all levels
- Willingness and ability to be on-call for weekends and emergency response periods outside of working hours
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Working knowledge of CSS and HTML
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and/or Blackbaud products (e.g. Luminate, BBCRM)
