Department Description:
ViiV US Market Access improves the lives of patients living with HIV and for those who would benefit from PrEP by protecting affordable access to ViiV’s medications, preserving medication choice, and promoting suite of therapies value for ViiV Healthcare. Within the Market Access organization, our Access Strategy and Payer Marketing team strives to educate payers on the unmet need in HIV treatment and PrEP, and prove that access to the ViiV Healthcare portfolio of medications is necessary to improve patient outcomes and reduce total HIV spend.
Job Description:
This role will support the development of business strategies and marketing tactics geared toward population-based decision makers. The goal of these tactics will be to positively impact coverage for the ViiV portfolio of products in the US. To accomplish these objectives, this position will involve engagement with stakeholders, teamwork to determine directions based on customer insights, along with multiple projects amid an ever-changing US payer landscape. The ViiV Market Access Intern will report to the Manager, Access Strategy and Payer Marketing for the Oral Portfolio.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Health Science, Healthcare Administration, Management, Communication, or related disciplines.
- Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the duration of the 10-12 week internship (May/June – August).
- Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.

Candidates who are hired for an on-site role or hybrid role, and reside outside of 50-miles from their assigned work location, are eligible for relocation stipend.
