The internship is roughly three (3) months, with start dates in early January. Interns will generally work Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. There may be opportunities for extension of the position based on student academic requirement, availability, and funding. The deadline to apply for the upcoming 2023 season is August 31, 2022. Work includes presenting virtual and in-person curriculum-based lessons and activities on topics such as ecology, ecosystem health, the National Park Service mission, and local history. Interns may …
