Career Talks for Forward-Looking Employers
When you sign up to present a CALES Career Talk, you get the unique chance to connect with the brightest and most hard-working students in the College of Agriculture, Life & Environmental Sciences. Unlike other career-focused events, a CALES Career Talk will offer you direct access to the top students preparing for work in your field, so you don’t waste your time with uninterested or unqualified students.
Career Talk FAQs:
A CALES Career Talk is an informal one-hour event that facilitates conversation between students and industry professionals. These events are hosted in person and online. Those who participate in person will be provided with a catered lunch and a free parking pass.
Presentations are informal and flexible in content and format. In the past, speakers have discussed their career journeys, background about their company/organization, what they do in their current role, industry trends, and current opportunities (jobs, internships & volunteering), utilizing slide decks, open discussions, picture presentations, or traditional lecture formats.
